Experteer Overview

You will lead the local engineering team at the Novara site, driving reliable delivery, structured processes, and strong collaboration with sales and customers. You will own NPI and process industrialization to meet customer commitments and business goals, while steering accurate costing and technical estimation for opportunities. You’ll act as a key technical interface during audits, site visits, and qualification activities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Lead a four-person engineering team to ensure reliable delivery and efficient processes Provide strategic and hands‑on engineering leadership for the Novara manufacturing site Drive new product introduction (NPI) and process industrialization aligned with timelines and business objectives Perform accurate costing and technical estimation for opportunities and ensure commercially viable solutions Interface with sales and customers to interpret specifications and build strong relationships Support customer audits, site visits, and validation activities, including substantiation and qualification reports Collaborate with leadership and business development to identify growth opportunities and expand scope Promote continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and proactive problem solving across the team Develop and optimize robust manufacturing processes, documentation, and tooling aligned with quality requirements Apply advanced quality tools to drive zero‑defect performance, conduct root‑cause investigations, and implement corrective actions Manage end‑to‑end process and capital projects while pursuing cost efficiency and operational excellence Operate under the metalworking national collective agreement and navigate salary and benefits terms Foster a collaborative safety and health culture and ensure compliance with standard work procedures Responsabilità

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7 years in production environment (aerospace preferred) Master degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred with focus on surface technologies/welding/production technology and 5 years in production environment (aerospace preferred) Open‑minded personality with strong written and verbal communication skills Detail‑oriented self‑starter with analytical and problem‑solving abilities Fluent English for communication Commitment to safety culture and high operational discipline Requisiti fondamentali
