Customer Engineer - Ac Power Milano, IT
The opportunity We are looking for an experienced candidate who will execute Service site activities on Transformers, in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. He or she will deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers and, in close cooperation with customer and other teams, will also take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for the company.
How you'll make an impact
Perform Service tasks like Installation and Commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently
Identifytechnical problems and make analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories (Installation and Commissioning, routine maintenance, oil treatment, accessories replacements, etc.)
Low Voltage test at site
Electrical cabling for new accessories installation and new digital devices
Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation. Maintain a good relationship with customers.
Identify new sales opportunities and communicates them internally
Coordinate, prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities
Prepare all documents and report to be signed by the customer representative. Report work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed
Troubleshoot simple equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future
Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service
Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices and incidents.
Coordinate different subcontractor for the scope
Your background
Electrical Technical diploma.
Good knowledge of both Italian and English.
5+yearsof experience in a similar role inside Transformers field is required.
Flexibility, independence and problem solving skills are nice to have.
Availability to travel (100%) in Italy.

Salary and benefits The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:Starting from: 38,000 gross annual salaryIn addition to the base salary, this role includes a performance bonus and a results-based bonus, designed to reward both individual contribution and company performance.The final offer will be based on the candidate's location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
