Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and empathetic Customer Care and Auction Specialist, fluent in both English and Italian, to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their skills in customer service, e-commerce, and the non-profit sector. You’ll support our international customer base and help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience on our auction platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers via email and phone, providing clear and friendly support in both English and Italian.
- Resolve questions, complaints, and issues quickly and professionally.
- Support auction winners by coordinating experience dates and shipping arrangements.
- Monitor deliveries and keep customers informed about their orders.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the improvement of customer service processes.
- Support with concierge-style sales and upselling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Build and publish auctions on the platform, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey.
What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in both Italian and English, spoken and written (very good standard required).
- Some experience or interest in customer service or support roles (internships, part-time, or entry-level experience welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Well-organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- A problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote international team.
- Interest in e-commerce, auctions, or the non-profit sector is a plus.
- A degree is a bonus, but not essential.
