About the Role


We are looking for a Customs Compliance Specialist to ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and internal corporate controls. This role manages import entry accuracy, HTS classification, customs bond requirements, reconciliation processes, duty recovery activities, and ongoing regulatory monitoring.


Main responsibilities:


  • Perform systematic audits of import entries (CBP Form 7501) for accuracy and regulatory compliance to validate declared data elements including HTS classification, customs value, country of origin, and duty rates
  • Classify products under the HTSUS
  • Monitor the continuous bonds in line with U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements
  • Track bond sufficiency and anticipate adjustments based on import volume and duty exposure
  • Collaborate with U.S. legal counsel and/or customs brokers to advance post-summary corrections (PSC) and protests
  • Monitor changes in U.S. customs regulations, including tariff update, and trade remedies (e.g., Section 301, ADD/CVD).


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Law or related field.
  • Solid experience in customs compliance and international trade operations, with a strong focus on U.S. customs procedures (3-4 years)
  • Demonstrated curiosity and aproactive approach to staying up to date with evolving international trade rules. xdwybme

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
