Used for multi-domain operations in the defense sector, the system will be characterized by a "core platform" connected with other peripheral "adjuncts" systems, piloted and unpiloted.The program, among the most challenging and futuristic for the aerospace and defense industry, will guide the technological revolution that will characterize the sector in the next fifty years. A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved, because it aims to identify and make available those innovative technologies, called enabling technologies, which will ensure the generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, for the benefit of new generations.The resources who will work within this program will have the opportunity to access a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced context.Within the Electronics Business Unit, we are looking for a person to join the CTO area, Pomezia office, for the Airborne Computers and Smart Cockpit Displays product lines.The person will be mainly dedicated to following the developments of technologies and products for the Global Combat Aircraft Program (GCAP) with a particular focus on Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) solutions. They will be placed in a highly dynamic environment in contact with advanced technological developments.The person will have, among their responsibilities:* The construction of business plans, in collaboration with the reference Business Area and in synergy with market evaluations and sales opportunities;
* the identification andmonitoring of technological trends;
* Support for and collaboration with external bodies (industrial / research);
* participation in thematic Working Groups (WG), in collaboration and support to the Defense bodies and with the other GCAP Consortium Partners;
* participation in development activities to support Engineering to help define the most appropriate technological choices for the project, with a specific eye on design to cost and design for manufacturing;
Support for production engineering for the definition of the most suitable processes and materials/components to put the new development product into production.**Educational Qualification:*** Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electronic and/or Computer Engineering. A degree in Physics with a good background in electronics may be an alternative.**Seniority:*** **Expert**: 3-5 years of experience.**Technical skills and knowledge:*** Knowledge of the main avionic computing solutions;
* skills in CPU/GPU, computing architectures, communication buses;
* knowledge of safety and avionic certification issues (optional);
* knowledge of DO254/178C processes (optional);
* experience in HW/SW design and knowledge of related development processes;
* ability to conduct comparative evaluations between third-party products;
* experience in conducting economic analyses and evaluations;
* familiarity with avionic architectures (optional);
**Computer skills:*** Good knowledge of the Office suite.**Behavioral skills:*** Passion for technologies and technological innovation;
* excellent relational skills, both within the company and towards customers;
* strong propensity for team working, both within the CTO and with all company functions involved in the product life cycle;
* Proactivity.**Languageskills:*** Excellent knowledge of English (C1 level).**Other (e.G.
