Our client is a leading specialist data centre main contractor delivering full turnkey solutions across Europe, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning works.
With a group turnover exceeding 1.5bn and a strong pipeline of secured projects over the next three years, they continue to expand within the mission-critical sector.
Due to ongoing growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced CSA Supervisor to join the site delivery team on a major data centre development in Milan, Italy.
The CSA Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities across all civil, structural, and architectural packages — ensuring works are delivered safely, in line with programme, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities
•
Supervise and coordinate daily CSA site activities, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. •
Monitor subcontractor performance, driving productivity and ensuring adherence to project schedules. •
Ensure all works are completed to required quality standards, carrying out routine inspections and identifying any non-conformances. •
Work closely with the QA/QC team to ensure inspections, documentation, and quality benchmarks are met. •
Support site management with planning activities, short-term lookahead programmes, and progress reporting. •
Attend and actively contribute to coordination meetings, subcontractor meetings, and internal planning reviews. •
Review drawings and highlight potential constructability issues or design clashes. •
Assist with the snagging and de-snagging process, ensuring defects are rectified in a timely manner. •
Maintain strong Health & Safety standards on site, promoting best practice and ensuring compliance at all times. •
Keep accurate site records, including daily reports and progress updates.Requirements •
Relevant qualification in Civil, Structural, or Construction Management (trade background also considered). •
Minimum of 3–5 years’ site supervision experience on large-scale construction projects. •
Previous experience on data centre or other mission-critical projects is highly desirable. •
Strong knowledge of CSA construction methods and sequencing. •
Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage works against programme. •
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. •
Good communication and organisational skills. •
