CSA Construction Manager - Hyperscale Data Centers Location Milan, Italy Reports to Lead Construction Manager Company A globally recognized engineering and construction firm with decades of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects. With offices in over 30 countries, the company has recently launched a dedicated Data Center business unit to support the growing demand for hyperscale facilities. Combining technical excellence with an innovative approach, they offer end-to-end solutions, ensuring efficiency, quality, and reliability in every project. Role Overview Key Responsibilities Project Management & Execution Lead the execution of CSA construction works, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Serve as the primary interface between the client, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Monitor construction progress, conducting regular site inspections and meetings. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays. Support the selection and procurement of CSA subcontractors. Oversee project documentation, approvals, and regulatory compliance. Implement and oversee Last Planner (production planning) methodology onsite. Financial & Contractual Oversight Maintain project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency. Manage subcontractor payments, invoicing, and financial reporting. Ensure proper change control management, including negotiation of contract amendments and variations. Provide accurate project status updates to stakeholders. Technical & Regulatory Compliance Define and optimize construction methodologies to improve efficiency and quality. Review and approve technical submittals, RFIs, and execution plans. Ensure compliance with national and international construction regulations. Contribute to the generation and understanding of scope of work documents for CSA packages. Support project close-out activities, including snag resolution, commissioning, and final handover. Team Leadership & Development Supervise and mentor junior construction staff, fostering professional growth. Drive teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across project teams. Promote a "right first time" approach in construction execution. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years of construction experience with a strong CSA background. Proven experience managing large-scale data center, high-tech, oil & gas, or pharmaceutical construction projects. Fluent in English and Italian both written and spoken). Strong commitment to Health & Safety principles. Ability to operate effectively in both an office and site environment with a "boots on the ground" approach. Full driving license required.
