Context

The Company & The Challenge Blue Lagoon Iceland is evolving. We are transforming from a world-renowned single destination into a diverse hospitality group (Blue Lagoon Group ) with a portfolio that spans luxury hotels, Michelin-starred dining, skincare, and adventure tourism in the Highlands.

We are building a Digital Growth Team —a specialized unit operating within the group to drive growth via digital channels. We combine data, technology, and creativity to maximize both business value and end-user experience.

The Team & The Setup You will be joining a cross-functional Italian/Icelandic team. We work remotely and on-site, blending the agility of a startup with the resources of an iconic global brand. Our focus is pure Digital Marketing Growth: we experiment, we measure, and we optimize.

Experience Level: Mid-Level (2–3 years of experience;
high-aptitude candidates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).

Role Overview: We are seeking a performance-driven specialist to own the technical execution of our web content. While the core of this role involves daily content management and updates, we are looking for someone who approaches the CMS as a tool for growth rather than just a repository for text. You are not just "filling boxes";
you are ensuring the content performs. You should be comfortable operating at the intersection of marketing and engineering, using agility and technical resourcefulness (including AI tools) to deliver speed and efficiency.

Your Duties:

• CMS Architecture & Optimization: You will serve as the owner of our Headless CMS (Contentful). You are expected to leverage the platform's full capabilities, structuring data and layouts to meet marketing requirements efficiently.
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): You will build, deploy, and refine landing pages designed to convert incoming traffic from all sources (Paid Media, Email, and Organic Search). Your primary goal is to minimize friction and maximize user action.
• SEO & Answer Engine Strategy: You will implement technical SEO best practices and lead our experimentation with "Answer Engine Optimization" (AEO), ensuring our content is structured to be discoverable by AI-driven search tools.
• Testing & Iteration: You will execute A/B tests on copy, layout, and user flows. You will be responsible for reorganizing website content based on performance data rather than purely aesthetic considerations.
• Technical Liaison: You act as the bridge between the Content Team and the Engineering Team. You must translate marketing needs into technical reality, ensuring that development resources are used efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Headless CMS Expertise: Familiarity with Headless CMS architecture (specific experience with Contentful is a significant advantage).
• Technical Literacy: You possess a clear understanding of how web technologies work (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). You are not expected to be a full-stack developer, but you should understand the code well enough to communicate effectively with engineers and implement independent "hacks" or styling adjustments when necessary.
• Proactive Mindset: You bring solutions, not just questions. You are expected to audit our pages and proactively propose structural changes to improve user experience and booking rates.
• Agile Execution: You prioritize speed and testing over perfection. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where "live and iterating" is valued over "delayed and perfect."

Contract & Logistics

• Contract: 12-month fixed-term full-time contract with significant potential for extension or permanent conversion based on performance and project evolution.
• Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
• Location: Milan office with required availability to travel to Iceland for workshops and team sprints.
• Start Date: We aim to start as soon as possible but are happy to accommodate a standard notice period for the right candidate.
• Language: Fluent English is a must;
