The Credit & Sales Administration Specialist is responsible to ensure the implementation and compliance to the Credit Policy.
The purpose of the role is to ensure a correct risk assessment to prevent any credit risk from the market and impact into the profitability and cash flow of the organization.
Work in cross-functional team with Operations and Sales is a key of success factor to facilitate resolution issues and review processes to prevent them.
Compliance with all relevant legislation and internal group guidelines is essential.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Credit Policy Management
Ensure the implementation and compliance to the Credit Policy, support the Credit Manager in the relation with the various departments of the company ( Sales, Accounting, Controlling, Operation, Marketing,) . Working with Sales and Operations teams to ensure proper credit management and problem resolution. Claims Management, ensuring the monitoring and resolution in collaboration with Sales and Operation. Perform Dunning as per credit guidelines.
Credit Risk Management
Perform Credit risk analysis on potential or existing customers, through financial analysis and financial information, make proposal and assure the approvals. Manage orders in credit block, evaluation and proposal for the release, escalation process activation if necessary, according to the Credit Policy.
Analysis & Reporting
Prepare Monthly Ageing analysis, elaborate Credit Reporting with the main indicators of performance. Manage cash application, accounting bank payments from the customer and clearings, SDD/ RIBA portfolio verification, closing GL accounts. Reconciliation Customers statements. Ensure timely litigation of files to the external lawyer. Standard Credit procedures preparation and revision.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Proven experience in OTC/ Credit management/ Cash Application, ideally in a consumer products or food/beverage manufacturing and/or distribution business.
- Proficient in all MS applications (especially Excel).
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of SAP 4hana and Celonis applications.
- Knowledge of key financial KPIs and credit management regulations.
- Ability to analyse and assess customers credit risk.
- Excellent organizational skills, respect for deadlines, attitude to problem solving, team work complete the profile.
