Position: Credit Analyst - Corporate & Investment Bank
The Credit Risk Management unit within the Chief Risk Officer department is seeking a Credit Analyst responsible for credit analysis and monitoring of a portfolio of Italian MidCaps Corporates.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality credit analysis, including financial and economic performance evaluation, risk drivers identification, and downcase scenario assessment.
- Support senior credit officers in managing credit requests, analyzing risk/reward profiles, and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure accurate, timely responses to business requests.
- Monitor and report credit exposures and identify early warning signals.
- Prepare documentation for Credit Committee and Senior Management Committees.
- Represent the team during internal audits and regulatory inspections.
Skills:
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of credit products, documentation, and approval processes.
- Understanding of credit-related regulatory requirements.
- Awareness of reputational, compliance, and legal risks associated with credit approval.
- Self-motivated with a structured approach, high attention to detail, and strong synthesis skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong relationship-building skills across divisions and regions.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
