Position: Credit Analyst - Corporate & Investment Bank

The Credit Risk Management unit within the Chief Risk Officer department is seeking a Credit Analyst responsible for credit analysis and monitoring of a portfolio of Italian MidCaps Corporates.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality credit analysis, including financial and economic performance evaluation, risk drivers identification, and downcase scenario assessment.
  • Support senior credit officers in managing credit requests, analyzing risk/reward profiles, and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure accurate, timely responses to business requests.
  • Monitor and report credit exposures and identify early warning signals.
  • Prepare documentation for Credit Committee and Senior Management Committees.
  • Represent the team during internal audits and regulatory inspections.

Skills:

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of credit products, documentation, and approval processes.
  • Understanding of credit-related regulatory requirements.
  • Awareness of reputational, compliance, and legal risks associated with credit approval.
  • Self-motivated with a structured approach, high attention to detail, and strong synthesis skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across divisions and regions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
