To strengthen our internal team for our French branch, we are looking for a:
Credit Collection Manager - French Market
The candidate will have the following main responsibilities:
• Manage credit activities and handle relationships with debtors- french market, including negotiating payment plans.
• Perform payment reminders.
• Detect and resolve disputes preventing payments.
• Organize frequent meetings with debtors and maintain constant contact.
• Monitor and verify debtor account balances.
• Track exposure volumes.
• Carry out necessary checks to ensure proper risk monitoring and propose potential actions.
• Support the collection of supporting documents and manage all data in the internal system.
• Collaborate with the internal legal unit for initiating and managing legal actions.
• Manage the relationship with clients regarding portfolio due diligence and internal system processes for potential transactions.
• Request and verify supporting documents.
• Clarify disputes raised by debtors regarding receivables.
• Conduct the reimbursement recovery and retrocession process.
• Monitor exposure.
• Provide credit management services.
• Report regularly to headquarters on local activities and credit management statistics.
• Collaborate with all Group units, including IT, and actively participate in internal projects.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing relationships with public or private counterparties for debt recovery and negotiation of agreements
- Proactive mindset with a focus on achieving KPIs (priority oriented).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible approach to problems and strong aptitude for teamwork.
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4/5 years of experience in a similar role
- People Management
- 60% Italy based - 40% French based - willing to travel
Skills:
- Proactive mindset with a focus on achieving KPIs (priority oriented).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate with debtors/public sectors.
- Flexible approach to problems and strong teamwork skills.
- Organizational skills
Language Skills:
- English C1 level, French : Native/ C2 Level; Italian: Nice to have
