We are looking for a person who will join Moleskine as a Creative Designer Intern .
The position is hybrid based in our office Milan.
Scope of the role
We are looking for a Creative Graphic Designer to join our Global SP team in Milan, which deals with creating visually appealing designs for bespoke projects for various customers. During this internship, you will work closely with other members of the Global SP team to develop creative concepts and solutions that align with our brand guidelines and business objectives. In you, we look for an empathetic and creative personality with a strong passion and curiosity for the field of graphic design.
Main activities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders/team sales and customers, to understand their requirements and develop creative concepts and designs
- Support in ensuring that all visual materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned with Moleskine's brand identity and messaging
- Contribute in the management of multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail
- Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of Moleskine's bespoke projects
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro DC)
- Skills in prepress printing
- Good time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Be a good team player
- Ability to work indipendently
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced global environment
Nice to have:
- Design sketch skills
Training Objectives:
- You’ll learn to organize and manage time and contextualize activities that go beyond just the concept creation process by working with your development and production team, client and internal stakeholders.
- You’ll learn, first-hand, what is technically feasible, and you will handle the materials and printing techniques useful to achieve what is proposed in the creative concept
- At the end of the internship, you will be able to develop the executive files (print-ready files) of the projects
