Country Sales Representative-HVAC/R Tools & Instruments (Italy)

Role Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead our growth in the Italian HVAC/R tools and measurement instruments sector. You will be responsible for bringing our high-performance tools (Vacuum pumps, recovery units, manifolds, etc.) to the hands of Italian technicians through strategic distribution and direct engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development: Identify and penetrate the Italian HVAC/R market, focusing on wholesalers, distributors, and large-scale contracting firms.
- Product Evangelism: Conduct on-site technical demonstrations to showcase the efficiency and precision of our HVAC/R tool range.
- Channel Management: Build and optimize a robust distribution network across Italy; ensure our products are the "top-of-mind" choice for local retailers.
- Client Retention: Act as a technical consultant for existing clients, ensuring they are updated on the latest tool calibrations and new product launches.
- Market Intelligence: Provide feedback on Italian technical standards (e.g., F-Gas regulations) to help our R&D team optimize tools for the local market.
Requirements:
- Industry Expertise: Minimum 3 years of sales experience specifically within HVAC/R tools, components, or diagnostic equipment.
- Network: Proven track record of existing relationships with Italian HVAC/R wholesalers and professional retailers.
- Technical Savvy: Ability to explain technical specifications and perform hands-on troubleshooting for mechanical/electronic tools.
- Language: Native or bilingual proficiency in Italian ; professional working proficiency in English for global team collaboration.
- Mobility: Valid Italian driver’s license and a willingness to travel (up to 50%) to visit clients and attend trade fairs like MCE (Mostra Convegno Expocomfort).
- Legal: Must be legally authorized to work in Italy.
