Lead Zybio's market growth in Italy, driving sales, regulatory approvals, and market penetration while establishing long-term commercial success against global competitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Revenue Growth  - Develop and execute country-specific strategies to achieve ≥35% annual revenue growth in established markets or successful market entry in new markets.
- Identify and secure partnerships with distributors, labs, hospitals, and government health programs.
- Monitor competitor activities (e.g., Sysmex, Roche, Abbott, Mindray) and adjust tactics to capture market share.
 
- Regulatory & Market Access  - Oversee FDA/CE-IVDR/MDR product registrations and compliance with local regulations (CLIA, ISO, etc.).
- Lead tender participation and negotiate contracts with key healthcare institutions.
 
- Sales Team Management  - Recruit, train, and manage local sales teams and distributor networks.
- Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and ensure alignment with Zybio's global strategy.
 
- Commercial Development & Education  - Build relationships with laboratory directors, clinicians, and industry associations (e.g., AACC, IFCC).
- Organize medical education events, product demos, and trade show participation.
 
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years in IVD commercial leadership (Country Manager, Regional Director, or equivalent).
- Proven success in growing IVD sales, e.g., achieved $5M+ annual revenue or top 3 market share.
- Deep understanding of IVD regulations (FDA/CE-IVDR, local compliance).
- Strong network with labs, hospitals, and distributors in Italy.
- Work experience with global leading IVD brands is preferred.
- Experience working with Chinese or emerging-market IVD companies.
- Fluency in English + local language (Chinese is a plus).
