For our new market in Italy, we are seeking a dedicated Country Manager to represent reev and establish our brand nationwide. You will be our first local Sales Manager, shaping our path from the start. As the local voice and face of reev, you will build the market and develop the local sales team, laying the foundation to maximize sales growth and strengthen our international presence in the EV industry.

Position Details

  • This is a remote-only position , allowing you to work from anywhere within Italy.
  • Business Development: Translate global strategies into local tactics based on data analysis and field experience, identify market potential, and collaborate with our Munich headquarters to develop sales and product strategies.
  • Analyze sales trends, budget variances, and provide market forecasts and insights.
  • Benchmark competitors, products, pricing, and business models within the Italian EV market.

Country Management Responsibilities

  • Oversee all local operations, including legal and tax matters, and be responsible for budget and revenue targets to ensure profit growth.
  • Develop a network with key stakeholders and authorities in the EV sector.
  • Report business performance to the Munich-based management team.
  • Acquire new customers and partners, negotiate contracts, and build our customer base in Italy.
  • Engage with internal teams and external partners, including marketing, product management, and regulators.
  • Conduct pitches, training sessions, and participate in local market events and fairs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of active sales experience, preferably in electrical wholesale or with an existing network in that sector.
  • An entrepreneurial, versatile personality with an affinity for technical products, data, and solutions.
  • Experience in building digital business structures.
  • Electrical expertise and enthusiasm for electromobility, renewable energies, and new technologies.
  • Strong networking and people management skills.
  • Proactive in establishing international connections and sharing knowledge.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Fluent in Italian; proficiency in English or German is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
