About the position

We are looking for an experienced leader for the role of Country Manager Hillebrand Gori Italy, responsible for leading our Beer, Wine, Spirit and Adjacent business and shaping the execution of our country strategy. This role requires a strong commercial and operational focus, the ability to drive growth, enhance efficiency, and foster a people-first culture, while ensuring compliance.

Key tasks

• Implement country level business strategy for Italy, in line with Hillebrand Gori’s vision, strategy, standards and guidelines
• Drive country’s business operations to achieve short and long term financial and operational objectives
• Lead sales, marketing and operations, and oversee accounting, purchasing, personnel, and/or financial functions
• Ensure country’s P&L (EBITA etc.), cost and revenue management
• Monitor consolidated budget for the country and recommend course corrections for variances to budgets
• Assess and report country performance and recommend plans for improvement
• Explore, identify growth opportunities and propose market expansion plans
• Resolve conflicts/ issues and ensure effective execution for critical areas such as matters related to product and market strategy, business development, investments, etc.
• Analyze complex multi-dimensional issues extensively and improve, change or adapt existing methods, techniques and/or processes to be more efficient

Stakeholders

• Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across Hillebrand Gori, DHL Group, and external partner organizations
• Communicate and influence senior business leaders outside of own job area
• Cooperate and coordinate with other departments and third parties

Management responsibility

• Manage multiple teams led by Directors and Managers

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Fluent in Italian and English
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Logistics, Management, or equivalent qualification
• More than 8 years of relevant logistics experience (strongly preferred in beer, wine, spirits and adjacent business), and demonstrated experience leading teams
• Strong business acumen, results-focused mindset, solid decision-making, and adaptable to change
• Ability to effectively balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
