WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the onboard Costa Ambassador, you will be a focal point for the onboard revenue strategy: illustrating and promoting the full onboard offer, using storytelling to spark guests’ desire to experience something new, and boosting revenue through cross- and up‑selling.
Build relationships of trust with guests, acting as their point of reference and consultant for all onboard products and services.
Present the onboard offer through engaging storytelling, using a simple, direct style tailored to each guest to spark interest and desire.
Offer the right product or service at the right time, promoting the experiences guests care about most.
Overcome objections and close sales, booking products and services and boosting onboard revenue through cross‑ and up‑selling.
Monitor sales targets and KPIs, supporting the departments in reaching them and turning guest data into action plans.
Take an active part in onboard revenue meetings and proactively propose new ideas to boost products and services.
Apply the retail levers that impact sales, visual display, staffing, asset protection and process optimisation, to maximise results.
Help build a strong safety culture, promote health and safety procedures, and uphold high standards on board.
