Cost Estimator

Purpose

• As a Cost Estimator, you are accountable to deliver in due time, the most accurate cost estimate for a defined scope.
• You will ensure to give the best cost view for a given system, which will allow the most accurate and efficient financial tracking during the project execution phase.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse cost and associated technical data on previous projects for both gaining knowledge and having benchmarking reference.
• Acquire good knowledge on products and project execution.
• Master and apply estimating techniques as well as governance.
• Identify or support (simple) tools development for improving quality of estimates, benchmarking and reporting.
• Deliver estimates in timely manner with best accuracy (depending conditions and inputs provided).
• Provide quality analysis and reporting to Commercial and Management team.
• Ensure transparency and traceability of costs and associated assumptions.
• Liaise, understand and challenge project team and various disciplines (engineering, supply chain, construction...).

Education

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Finance.

Experience

• Ideally minimum of 3 years experience in Industry (Oil & gas is a plus).
• Proficient in Excel.
• Cost Estimating or cost engineer/controller experience is a plus.
