The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Corporate Development Director to work in a leading Investment Fund with a European scope.

The candidate will lead the advanced stage development and assess the feasibility and suitability of the 1 GW of Solar PV, Onshore Wind and BESS projects in Italy, Iberia and Europe.

The role combines technical assessment, project development, and on‑site execution, requiring a full‑cycle understanding of how utility‑scale assets move from concept to commercial operation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the initial technical workstream for renewable‑energy assets by conducting feasibility studies, evaluating potential sites, and reviewing preliminary construction approaches.
• Establish agreements and seek business partners for the acquisition of a portfolio of projects through co-development.
• Develop and originate new onshore projects.
• Identify projects nearing Ready to Buy (RtB) and assess their potential acquisition.
• Prepare and implement the commercial plan in Europe.
• Increase the pipeline of greenfield and brownfield projects. Manage the permitting process for projects under development.
• Monitor changes in market regulations, interconnection rules, and grid‑code requirements to ensure project compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

  8 years of experience inthe technical development and origination in renewable‑energy projects (solar, wind, or storage), including full early‑stage development from greenfield to ready‑to‑build.
• Experience in the EPC cycle, with familiarity in on‑site coordination and technical support from groundbreaking to COD.
• Fluency in English and Italian is a must.
