Power Electronics Coordinator
We are seeking a highly qualified individual for the role of Power Electronics Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating power converters for assigned projects and/or their direct reports, respecting time and cost constraints.
They will ensure, in coordination with the R&D manager, the company's research and development capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing hardware parts of the power converter, including documentation, design, testing, and validation, either directly or through reports, within defined time and cost limits:
- Sizing of power semiconductors
- Sizing magnetic components (transformers and inductors)
- Sizing capacitors (AC and DC)
- Sizing and designing busbars and connection cables
- Sizing power supplies
- Designing cooling systems
- Designing drivers for semiconductors
- Sizing current and/or voltage transducers
- Sizing electromechanical protection and management components
- Sizing protection fuses
- Defining mechanical structure with mechanical designers
- Defining EMC strategies
Required skills:
- Knowledge of configurations and topologies used in power converters
- Understanding of control types used in power converters for simulation modeling
- Updated theoretical and practical knowledge of technologies used (power semiconductors, magnetic components, capacitors, dissipation systems, etc.)
- Experience with simulation and design tools (e.g., Matlab-Simulink, PSim, Plecs, PSpice, Orcad, Altium)
- Experience with power electronics laboratory tools (oscilloscopes, differential and isolated voltage probes, current probes, multimeters, power meters)
- Manual skills in soldering components on circuits, both PTH and SMD
- Knowledge of electrical risk and safe working methods (PES training)

Role requirements:
- Master's degree in electronic or electrical engineering, or a technical diploma with extensive practical experience
- Good command of English
- At least 10 years of experience in power electronics R&D in international contexts
