Our Malandateam is looking for a knowledgeable and supportive individual to join our Road Services department as a full‑time permanent Coordinator Construction & Contracts.
Overview The Coordinator Construction & Contracts is responsible for providing project management and delivery of road and bridge construction, renewal, and maintenance activities on Tablelands Regional Council’s (TRC) sealed and unsealed road network, including the coordination of capital and maintenance contract works. The role works closely with the Coordinator Maintenance to ensure effective and efficient delivery of TRC roads maintenance, renewal, and project activities.
Responsibilities
Manage delivery of construction, renewal and maintenance activities for sealed and unsealed roads, including road pavement markings.
Supervise bridge works and major culverts.
Oversee minor culverts and associated end structures.
Coordinate roadside vegetation, signage and other roadside works.
Ensure compliance with the Road Maintenance Performance Contract (RMPC) and deliver road maintenance activities on state‑controlled roads within agreed intervention levels.
Take on additional services and functions as required.
Qualifications
General Construction Induction (White/Blue) Card.
Diploma in Civil Construction Management (minimum).
Civil Engineering qualification (preferred).
Diploma in Project Management (desirable).
Traffic Management Implementation and Design experience (desirable).
