Job Summary

The Cook is responsible for preparing meals that meet quality, safety, and presentation standards while supporting efficient kitchen operations. This role requires reliability, speed, and a strong commitment to food excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established procedures
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality
  • Plate dishes neatly and accurately before service
  • Keep work areas clean and compliant with health regulations

Other Duties Assigned

  • Restock supplies and assist with receiving deliveries
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation methods
  • Previous kitchen experience is an asset
