Controller competitive intelligence & IP Analyst

NEAR‑C Holding, as part of its organizational expansion, is seeking a resource to support the activities of the Business Strategy & Product Development (BSPD) team, with direct responsibilities across two key areas: Competitive Intelligence and Intellectual Property Management (IP Management). The role requires autonomy, analytical skills, the ability to manage complex information and constant interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PESTEL analysis, market analysis and competitor analysis to support the annual Business Plan;
• Develop strategic analyses for business initiatives;
• Collect, consolidate and interpret data from internal and external sources;
• Prepare reports and presentations for top management;
• Supervise the patent portfolio in collaboration with external counsel:
• Support internal processes for the evaluation of new inventions and promote IP awareness across the organization;
• Analyze IP‑relevant contracts in cooperation with the Legal Department;
• Automate reporting and data updates through AI tools (Microsoft Copilot).

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Business Plan development and corporate finance;
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements and key economic‑financial KPIs;
• Familiarity with the following sectors: automotive, off‑highway, marine, shipping;
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, PowerBI, SharePoint and data management tools;
• Understanding of the patent lifecycle and know‑how protection strategies;
• Ability to read and interpret technical and legal contracts;
• Excellent level of English;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and AI‑based tools for automation and reporting;
• Autonomy, proactivity, and action‑oriented mindset;
• Ability to work in complex and fragmented environments;
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders;
• Strong presentation skills, including C‑level audiences;
• Ability to manage stress and tight deadlines;
