The selected candidate will be responsible for the design of real time control and/or diagnostic functions to be be implemented in automotive Electronic Control Modules.

Primary purpose of the position and description of the major expected results or objectives include the following:

• System requirements definition and architectural design
• Definition and revision of control and/or diagnostic requirements, software specifications and documentation
• Test cases definition for sw verification and qualification and test execution in the appropriate environment.
• Calibration and experimental activities on simulation and real environment to assess performance of control functions.

Qualification

• Degree in Mechatronic, Automatics, Electronic, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

Mandatory Skills

• Control theory knowledge
• Control system development tools like Matlab, Simulink.
• Fluent English, team working and good communication skills

Other Preferred skills

• General base powertrain knowledge
• 1-2 years of experience in automotive controls
• Knowledge of SW languages (C and Python)
• General knowledge of test methods and instrumentation.
• Experience of using automotive calibration and data acquistion tools (e.g. ETAS INCA and MDA)
