About this vacancy Control Systems Development: Design and implement control algorithms for electric and hybrid vehicles, focusing on performance, efficiency, and reliability. Model-Based Design: Use tools such as MATLAB and Simulink to model, simulate, and validate control strategies, supporting embedded software development. Component Interaction: Develop control functions with awareness of their interaction within the vehicle environment. Vehicle-Level Understanding: Gain exposure to overall vehicle behavior, contributing to the optimization of control functions and system performance. What we expect from you Master's or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Experience with model-based design tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) Understanding of electric vehicle architectures and basic control strategies Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks Interest in sustainable mobility and automotive innovation What you can expect from us The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the base Gross Annual Salary – RAL will be no less than €32.000, in line with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution and Services. TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package. At the end of the recruitment process, after assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may offer a final gross annual salary higher than the amount stated above. In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a project profit-sharing component, an individual annual learning and development budget of €4,000 net, and an annual welfare allowance. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process, in accordance with the company's applicable policies.
