We are seeking a highly skilled CONTROL ENGINEER to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Control Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and optimize control algorithms for electric traction systems and brushless motors to meet performance and efficiency requirements.
• System Integration: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate control strategies into overall vehicle systems, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility.
• Modeling and Simulation: Utilize modeling and simulation tools to validate control algorithms, analyze system behavior, and make data‑driven improvements.
• Testing and Validation: Develop testing procedures and conduct validation tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of control systems in real‑world scenarios.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance the performance and competitiveness of our electric traction solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, including control system specifications, test plans, and validation reports.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in control system development, specifically in the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and other relevant programming languages.
• In‑depth knowledge of electric traction systems, brushless motor control, and power electronics.
• Experience with model‑based design and simulation tools for control system development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in both Italian and English is a must.
