Contracts Lead

For our own projects, we are looking for: Contracts Lead

Start Date: July 2026 (tentatively early to mid-July)

Contract Duration: 6–8 months (maternity cover)

Project Phase: Pre-Award

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including NDAs, client contracts, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), bidding agreements, and collaboration agreements.

• Negotiate contractual terms and conditions directly with clients.

• Identify and assess contractual risks and support their inclusion within the risk management process.

• Provide contractual advice and interpretation to management and project teams.

• Review contract qualifications and ensure an appropriate balance of risk and commercial exposure.

• Support the preparation and negotiation of Joint Venture and Partnering Agreements.

• Assist Supply Chain, Procurement, and Subcontracts teams with contractual flow-down provisions and subcontract negotiations.

• Support Treasury with contractual deliverables such as bonds, guarantees, and insurance requirements.

• Contribute contractual inputs during commercial handovers and approval processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law.

• Legal qualification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation.

• 3–5+ years of client-facing contracting experience.

• Strong understanding of contract structures, contracting principles, and risk allocation.

• Experience working in pre-award contracting environments.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in English with a good command of Italian.

Please note: This opportunity is focused on pre-award contracting activities. Candidates with experience primarily in post-award contract administration and contracts management may not be suitable.
