We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Hotel Contracting Manager to join our Global Contracting Team. You will lead hotel partnerships in your assigned markets: negotiating contracts, ensuring competitive rates and availability, and driving portfolio growth to support our strategy.
Location: Rome and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Hotel Partnerships & Contracts : Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with hotel partners. Negotiate and finalize contracts in line with Go Global Travel’s processes, legal standards, and channel strategies.
- Performance Management : Track and analyze the performance of contracted hotels, secure competitive rates, promotions, and availability, and implement measures to maximize revenue and market share.
- Portfolio Expansion : Identify market trends, monitor demand, and expand the hotel portfolio, including secondary destinations to ensure a competitive product mix.
- Operational Excellence : Oversee accurate contract loading into systems, resolve operational issues (book-outs, payments, etc.), and collaborate with internal teams to maintain service quality.
- Marketing Collaboration : Partner with marketing teams on campaigns and initiatives, communicate activities to hotel partners, and generate additional revenue through discounts, contributions, and joint promotions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Product teams to align objectives and ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Tourism, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in hotel contracting.
- Proven negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and secure favourable terms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with fluency in English (additional languages are a strong plus).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Collaborative team player with creativity and an open-minded approach.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience working with both independent hotels and international hotel chains.
- Knowledge of market trends, seasonal demand patterns, and industry events.
- Previous exposure to trade fairs, marketing collaborations, or industry workshops.
- Strong commercial acumen and a passion for the travel and hospitality sector.
