Descrizione dell'offerta
We are supporting a global technology leader on one of the most ambitious capital programmes currently underway — a large-scale data centre expansion spanning multiple sites across Europe and North America.
We are looking for a
Contract Manager
to join this programme on the owner's side — someone who has built solid EPC contract administration foundations and is ready to step into a complex, high-value environment where the work is varied, the pace is real, and the exposure to senior programme leadership is significant.
What you will be doing Day-to-Day Contract Administration Own the administration of one or more EPC packages — managing correspondence, maintaining contract registers, tracking key dates and obligations, and ensuring nothing slips through the gaps.
Variation Orders & Change Management Support the identification, assessment, and processing of variation orders and change events. Build a clear audit trail and ensure entitlement positions are well documented from the outset.
Claims Support Assist in the preparation and review of contractor claims — gathering contemporaneous records, cross-referencing contract provisions, and supporting the senior team in forming and defending the client's position.
Draft and manage formal contractor communications in a timely and contractually sound manner. Understand the importance of what is said, how it is said, and when.
Reporting & Tracking Maintain accurate commercial and contractual trackers. Produce clear internal reporting that gives programme leadership visibility of exposure, progress, and open items.
What we are looking for
7–10 years of experience in contract management or contract administration within EPC or major capital project environments
Hands‑on experience with variation orders, change management, and contractor correspondence — not just exposure, but ownership
Engineering, quantity surveying, or construction management background — we need someone who can engage credibly with contractors on technical and commercial matters
Data centre, critical infrastructure, or large‑scale MEP experience is a strong advantage
Detail‑oriented and organised — you understand that contract management lives or dies on the quality of the record
Clear and confident communicator, written and verbal
Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, multi‑stakeholder programme environment
Europe‑based, willing to travel to sites as required
Duration 8–12 months with strong possibility of extension
