Continuous Improvement Engineering Specialist
As a Continuous Improvement Engineering Specialist, you will bridge global design, manufacturing, and project management to drive process change from concept to end-of-life. You optimize engineering productivity by supporting NPDI, VAVE, and Sustaining teams, ensuring high-quality, first-time-right execution. You collaborate with international R&D and manufacturing groups to standardize methods and reduce regional variability. This role offers the chance to influence cross-functional workflows, performance reporting, and resource planning in a global setting. Own improvement process identification, execution, and implementation; enable adoption by engineering teams Lead Lessons Learned, root cause analysis, and quality reviews after projects Serve as operational contact for NPDI, VAVE, and Sustaining teams to ensure workflow adherence Act as global liaison to ensure SOPs and technical methods are consistently applied Collect feedback from regional groups and propose practical process adjustments Generate weekly/monthly status reports focused on engineering efficiency and process adherence Assist PMOs with resource planning by tracking capacity and utilization across active projects Strong understanding of NPDI and its intersection with manufacturing (VAVE/Sustaining) Analytical and communicative; able to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects Collaborative, problem-solving mindset with process-adherence discipline Self-starter with motivation and ability to drive change Proficient in Microsoft Office Customer-oriented with written and spoken English 2–5 years of role-equivalent experience in a global, cross-functional environment Engineering/manufacturing experience in the power business preferred As a Continuous Improvement Engineering Specialist, you will bridge global design, manufacturing, and project management to drive process ch…
