WCM Coordinator – Closures Factory
Location: Sezzadio, Italy (On‑site)
About the Company & The Role:
Our client is a global packaging and food processing leader, committed to making food safe and available everywhere while protecting food, people and the planet. Within their Closures business, World Class Manufacturing (WCM) is the core enabler for continuous improvement and sustainable performance across the factory. As WCM Coordinator, you will champion WCM methodologies on site, driving loss eradication, embedding standards and supporting the factory in achieving its key performance indicators (KPIs). You will work closely with the WCM & Quality Manager, pillar leaders and cross‑functional teams to guide change, build capability and foster a culture of engagement around continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience:
- Technical degree, ideally in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience working in a WCM or TPM‑certified company for at least one year.
- Proven background in continuous improvement, change management and the practical application of WCM principles in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to methodologies such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean or TQM, ideally with hands‑on project execution.
- Experience in stakeholder management, team coordination, auditing and driving cross‑functional improvement activities.
- Track record of translating long‑term strategies into short‑ and mid‑term improvement plans.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong analytical mindset with a systematic approach to problem definition, root cause analysis and solution implementation.
- Clear and confident communicator in both Italian and English, able to engage at all levels of the factory organisation.
- Natural facilitator who can inspire and motivate teams, fostering ownership and participation in WCM activities.
- Structured, self‑motivated and comfortable independently leading initiatives, while acting as a collaborative team player.
- Positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to challenge the status quo and promote a transformative, continuous‑improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the owner and ambassador of WCM methodologies within the factory, ensuring consistency and alignment with corporate standards.
- Inspire and guide colleagues to embrace continuous improvement, driving behavioural change and strong engagement in WCM activities.
- Provide structured support to WCM pillars and cross‑functional teams in defining, deploying and sustaining WCM standards and best practices.
- Lead the Education & Training (E&T) pillar, building WCM capability through targeted training, coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Support the definition and monitoring of factory KPIs linked to WCM, helping to prioritise improvement activities and track results.
- Contribute to audits, reviews and assessments related to WCM and continuous improvement, ensuring gaps are addressed through clear action plans.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports and updates on WCM progress to stakeholders across the factory.
