About The Role & Team

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Merchandiser Supervisor to join our Disney+ Italy team. You’ll be responsible for curating and scheduling content across the platform, ensuring the service reflects the latest releases and editorial priorities.

Reporting directly into the Sr Programming Manager DTC Italy, you will work closely with content and marketing managers, wireframe monthly layouts, prioritize titles and promotions, and collaborate with EMEA and global teams to maintain a consistent tone of voice. You’ll also use data insights to guide editorial decisions and enhance user engagement.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—ideal for someone who thrives on precision and enjoys working across international teams. You will schedule and manage the featuring of new movies, series, TV, and short-form content available on the service. You will analyze viewing behavior data to inform editorial curation and help create a best-in-class SVOD experience utilizing Disney’s characters and IP.

This is an office-based role, with four days in the office and one day remote each week.

What You Will Do

  • Use Google Doc templates to create detailed featuring wireframes for European service updates, including Disney+ content drops, editorial events, and key initiatives.
  • Use Airtable, Maestro, Content Portal, What’s On, Looker, and Disney+ CMS to program, publish, and schedule content and updates, including weekly refreshes and editorial collections.
  • Plan Disney+ editorial events, including local seasonal and editorial collections, working with the Design team for assets.
  • Ensure translation and localization accuracy, working with EMEA and Global teams to maintain tone and messaging.
  • Align content merchandising with programming, CRM, and marketing activities within the wider DTCI team.
  • Deliver local schedule planning, collaborating with EMEA and global schedulers, and share viewing trends and data with the team.
  • Establish routines for post-publish content validation and quality control to ensure content is featured as scheduled.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with digital platforms/CMS required.
  • Knowledge of the SVOD market and media scheduling experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with data analysis and BI tools like Looker, PowerBI, or similar.
  • Passion for Disney & FOX brands and IP.
  • Familiarity with iOS/Android platforms and multiple devices.
  • Ability to focus on details while understanding larger objectives.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SVOD management scheduling or content programming is a plus.
