CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT - LERICI
Job Responsibilities:
- You will oversee and monitor all construction activities performed by EPC Contractor(s), ensuring compliance with project objectives, contractual requirements, quality standards, HSE regulations, and schedule commitments.
- You will act as the client’s representative on construction matters, safeguarding project interests and supporting the successful delivery of complex multidisciplinary projects.
- You will coordinate construction interfaces across engineering, procurement, commissioning, operations, subcontractors, and third parties.
- Review and monitor EPC Contractors’ construction execution plans, method statements, and work packages.
- Ensure construction activities are aligned with approved schedules, project milestones, and contractual requirements.
- Support constructability reviews during engineering and design phases.
- Identify construction risks and contribute to mitigation and contingency plans.
- Monitor HSE performance, participate in safety audits and site inspections, and promote a strong safety culture.
- Oversee implementation of Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and review NCRs and corrective actions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary construction activities including civil, structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.
- Manage interfaces between contractors, vendors, client teams, and third parties.
- Monitor construction progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective or recovery actions.
- Support contract administration, change management, variation orders, and claims assessment.
- Review construction reports and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for the client.
- Ensure construction records, red‑line markups, and as‑built documentation are properly maintained and delivered.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as Construction Manager within large EPC projects in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, Industrial, or Infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary construction activities including civil, structural, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, field execution, commissioning interfaces, and project delivery processes.
- Excellent knowledge of international standards and codes such as API, ASME, AWS, and equivalent industry regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing EPC Contractors, subcontractors, and multicultural project teams.
- Ability to monitor project performance, schedule adherence, quality, HSE compliance, and contractual obligations.
- Compensation ranges between €50.000 and €85.000 . The position is classified under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Trade and Services sector applied by our company. Placement within the salary range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria. In the case of candidates with exceptional qualifications beyond the indicated range, a revision may be considered subject to internal approval.
