Construction Scaffolding Supervisor

Mission

The Construction Scaffolding Supervisor is appointed on projects during the construction execution at job sites.

His/her main responsibility is to supervise the erection, modifications, maintenance and dismantling of scaffolding by the selected subcontractor, in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

• To coordinate with KT and Subcontractor’s construction management to receive, verify and

prioritize the requests for new scaffolding erection and modification and dismantling of

already erected scaffolding;

• To coordinate with KT and Subcontractor’s HSE officers for the inspections of scaffolding;

• To verify the design of scaffolding submitted by the dedicated subcontractor;

• To oversee the correct installation of scaffolding ensuring compliance with safety

regulations and industry standards;

• To keep records of the status of the requests for scaffolding and of the material quantities

involved;

• To verify the accounting ledgers submitted by the dedicated subcontractor;

• To participate in the coordination meeting with Site/Construction Management and

Subcontractors.

The Construction Scaffolding Supervisor reports to the Construction Manager.
