Construction Project Manager

The Company: OXBO are supporting a rapidly expanding renewable energy developer focused on utility scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects across Italy. With multiple projects under construction and a significant authorised pipeline, they are looking to hire a Construction Project Manager to join their offices in Rome. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the full construction lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from contract management through to technical and administrative completion and handover to O&M and Asset Management. Strong career progression as the portfolio scales. Excellent bonus. The Role: Manage EPC and construction contracts with a focus on optimising time, cost, and quality. Oversee the full construction cycle through to final commissioning and handover. Ensure compliance with national and EU regulations regarding HSE, environmental, and quality standards. Monitor physical and financial project progress, analyse budget deviations, and proactively manage critical paths. Interface with Engineering on technical specifications and design activities. Support Procurement in the selection and planning of main components (modules, inverters, trackers, etc.). Collaborate with Controlling on periodic financial reporting and cost tracking. Requirements: Degree in a scientific discipline (Engineering preferred). Minimum 3 years’ construction experience in a similar role within the renewable energy industry. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. Fluent in Italian and a good command of English.
