Construction Project Manager

We're looking for a Construction Project Manager to join a leading company in the field of cold chain logistics. Main Responsibilities: To support our further growth in Italy, we are looking to recruit a Construction Project Manager to join our team and to contribute to the new and relevant construction project for a newly designed, technologically advanced, automated warehouse, to be started in Campania (greater Naples area). You will be positioned to form a reliable colleague for our internationally operating Project Management team. You are the linking pin between Business Development, our local construction team and external contractors. As Construction Project Manager you will assist and support the Construction Project Director Italy in the entire project, from handover from Business Development, along all the warehouse construction steps and till final implementation and handover to the Operations (ie Site Manager). You will support the team in getting the project delivered on time, within budget and with the right quality. What will you do? Giving support to the Construction Project Director in all its activities, like budget, planning, meetings etc; Supervise the project administration activities, financially and contractually, hereby maintaining quality; Monitor the design and procurement of the contractors; Liaise with and manage the local Site Manager and his team; Record all project related documentation (permits, drawings, minutes, contracts, etc.) Regularly attend meetings on-site; Coordinate all PMO-activities. Qualifications: You like working in a growing and top level company, as well as into a high-pace work environment; Resilient and capable to work under pressure yet making things happen; Collaborative mindset and approach; You are comfortable in an international setting; Able to work and deal with different and multiple stakeholders demands; Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering; Relevant experience as a Project Engineer/manager on construction/ automation/ logistic projects; Basic knowledge of principles, practices and theories; Comfortable working in a dynamic and international work environment; At least a working knowledge of English; Expert knowledge of MS office and MS Projects; Open to occasional business travelling within Italy and Europe.
