Job Opening: Construction Manager - Logistics & Organization

Ali Professional is seeking a Construction Manager specializing in Logistics & Organization for a project in Milan, Italy. This role is with a globally structured Data Center general contractor.

Responsibilities

1. Develop lifting plans and supervise all lifting activities.
2. Coordinate temporary site works such as crane bases, fencing, excavations, and scaffolding.
3. Plan site setup for efficient movement of labor and materials, including fencing, gates, site accommodations, cranes, hoists, safety measures, temporary services, material delivery strategies, waste management, and catering.
4. Plan internal and external logistics routes throughout project phases, focusing on vehicle, machinery, and personnel separation, storage areas, and unloading points.
5. Ensure compliance with organizational safety policies.
6. Manage and supply welfare facilities, including canteen and cleaning services.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
2. At least 5 years of experience in construction operations, preferably in Data Center or large-scale projects.
3. Designated Person (AP) for Lifting Operations.
4. Fluent in English and Italian (C1 level).
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with all project stakeholders, from client management to subcontractors.
6. Valid Italian driving license.
7. Strong understanding of construction safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
8. Strong planning, organizational, and teamwork skills.
