Construction Manager

As a Construction Manager at Hitachi Rail, you will oversee on-site construction activities for national and international projects from a Turin base. You’ll ensure design and planning compliance, coordinate with clients, authorities, and subcontractors, and drive safe, efficient site operations. You will work within a cross-functional environment to optimize resources and continuously improve processes. Ensure works quality in line with project design and specifications

Ensure construction activities align with the project planning

Liaise with Customers/Authorities/Contractors/ Partners/ Subcontractors for site handover

Ensure site compliance with HSE management plan

Optimize resources on site within project budget and planning baselines

Develop site-specific plans aligned with project program and budget

Update and improve processes and procedures

Support Construction Manager to ensure material availability on site per Working Schedule

Experience up to 5 years on site activities and workforce management

Fluent in technical drawing and reporting

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project (plus)

Good verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of signalling, power supply and traction power technology systems

Driving license valid in Sweden and willingness to travel/long-term assignment

Proficiency with Windows and Office package
