Consolidation & Reporting Specialist

RDM Group is looking for a Consolidation and Reporting Specialist to join the team based in Milan .
The position holder will support the Consolidation Team for preparing and analyzing the Consolidated Financial Statement and Reporting Packages across multiple entities. This role ensures compliance with international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS), supports internal and external audits, and contributes to the accuracy of the Consolidated Financial Statement.
Accountabilities:
- Contributing to collecting all the information useful to Italian and foreign Companies Reporting Packages;
- Supporting the manager in reviewing Reporting Packages;
- Supporting the manager in preparing the Consolidated Financial Statement (i.E. intercompany reconciliation, IAS/IFRS booking entries, consolidation booking entries)
- Support the manager in writing the interim and annual disclosures and notes accompanying the Consolidated Financial Statement.
Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge of international accounting principles (IAS/IFRS);
- Proficient knowledge of consolidated financial statement process;
- Ability to analyze Reporting Packages according to IAS/IFRS accounting principles and Group Reporting Manual;
- Ability to critically scrutinize financial data;
- Ability to cooperate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Excellent knowledge of English;
the knowledge of another European language is a plus;
- Ability to learn fast in a dynamic environment combined with data accuracy and fast reaction in case of ad hoc analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Talentia is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 3-4years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting, ideally in complex a multinational environment, or in consultancy contexts (Big 4);
- Experience in manufacturing Groups and/or auditing firms.
