Computer Vision Engineer

Overview

Oversonic Robotics is hiring a Computer Vision Engineer to develop and optimize advanced algorithms for 3D object detection and pose estimation in real-time robotic applications. This role offers opportunities to work with state-of-the-art CV/DL frameworks and collaborate with software and hardware teams. You will contribute to deploying high-performance vision models on GPUs and edge devices while supporting the integration of these systems into humanoid robots. The position is in the Milan/Carate Brianza area with some hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize algorithms for 3D object detection and pose estimation in real-time robotic applications.

Deploy high-performance vision models on GPUs and edge devices and support their integration into humanoid robots.

Collaborate with software and hardware teams to deliver robust CV/DL solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Key candidate requirements include:

• Camera testing and calibration: knowledge of intrinsic/extrinsic calibration techniques and camera parameter validation;
• Experience with multi-camera or RGB-D systems (e.g., Intel RealSense, ZED, or similar);
• Experience with VLM, VLA applied in robotics;
