We are looking for a highly skilled CFD Analyst to support numerical simulations in the fields of aerodynamics, cooling, thermal comfort, and thermal management for commercial vehicle applications.

The ideal candidate is an expert user of Star‑CCM+ , with strong capabilities in ANSA for geometry preparation and meshing, and solid experience using MATLAB and 1D modeling tools (Amesim, GT‑Power or similar). The role is highly technical and focused on numerical simulation.
Key Responsibilities
CFD Simulations – Core Activity (≈80%)
• Execute CFD simulations for aerodynamics, engine cooling, heat exchangers, HVAC and full‑vehicle thermal management.
• Perform geometry cleanup and meshing using ANSA.
• Build, run and post‑process CFD models using Star‑CCM+.
• Extract KPIs, verify numerical convergence, evaluate design variants.
1D Thermal System Modeling
• Build and run 1D models using Amesim, GT‑Power or equivalent.
• Support cooling circuit and HVAC sizing through 1D–CFD combined analysis.
• Perform sensitivity studies and scenario evaluations.
MATLAB, Optimization & Automation
• Use MATLAB for data processing, post‑processing and automation scripting.
• Contribute to automation of preprocessing, model setup and post‑processing workflows.
Reporting & Documentation (≈20%)
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, plots and figures.
• Maintain organized simulation datasets and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 7–12 years of experience in simulation.
• Strong background in numerical fluid dynamics and heat transfer.
• Mandatory proficiency in Star‑CCM+, ANSA, MATLAB and 1D tools (Amesim/GT‑Power).
• Experience in automotive or heavy‑duty CFD applications.
• Fluent English.
Soft Skills
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Nice to Have
• Experience with CFD–test correlation.
• Knowledge of scripting languages.
