Descrizione dell'offerta
Internship – Computational Designer | Robotics & Digital Fabrication
AIVOX is a Milan-based company specializing in industrial automation, robotics, and computational design, working with architects, artists, and industrial clients.
We're looking for an intern to join our Innovation/Technology team as an Architect/Computational Designer.
What you'll do:
Parametric modeling and scripting (Grasshopper, Rhino, Dynamo, Python)
Development of digital prototypes and automated workflows to generate geometries and machine instructions (G-code, RAPID)
Programming and simulation of CNC machining and robotic fabrication processes (ABB/KUKA robotic arms for LSAM additive printing, subtractive machining)
Integration between CAD/BIM models and industrial control platforms
Research on computational solutions for process optimization
Testing, validation, and technical documentation
What we're looking for:
Students or recent graduates in Architecture, Computational Design, Engineering, or related fields.
Curiosity, problem-solving mindset, precision in managing code and files.
Python – basic level.
Inglese B1 language proficiency.
What you'll learn: How to translate a parametric model into instructions executable by CNC and robotic systems — building the foundations to become a Computational Designer / Digital Fabrication Specialist, a hybrid profile increasingly in demand across advanced architecture, robotics, and large-scale additive manufacturing.
