Component Responsible Engineer

Responsibilities
- Define and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of all vehicle antenna systems and the Online Connectivity Unit (OCU).
- Review the Technical Description Document of the product to ensure compliance with antenna and OCU requirements.
- Collaborate with other teams and areas regarding antenna systems and OCU activities (e.g., packaging/positioning, wiring, component documentation).
- Define and align the testing plan (at component and vehicle level) with the supplier.
- Coordinate needed resources among other client departments.
- Manage and track component modifications and engineering changes: P, B, K & BMG.
- Ensure that the vehicle antenna system complies with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., regarding radiofrequency emissions and standards).
Qualifications
- Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications engineering.
- Solid knowledge of antenna technologies (AM/FM, GNSS, LTE, 5G, etc.).
- Experience in the development of Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
- Confidence reading and understanding electronic schematics.
- Comfortable planning, scheduling and leading project meetings.
- Strong organizational skills and task tracking; project management experience is a plus.
- Professional maturity, proactive, responsible, technical curiosity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Minimum English Level: B2.
- German language skills are a plus.
- Experience: 3–4 years.
