The Compliance Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers, product management, quality, and test & validation teams to contribute to all phases of development and delivery of security and safety products.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of mandatory and voluntary certification schemes.
- Plan and complete certification processes for mechanical and electronic security products.
- Prepare test reports and supervise testing progress and periodic audits.
- Suggest product features to achieve required certifications.
- Interface with local and international certification bodies.
- Manage information flow with certification bodies.
- Develop engineering specifications by translating international standards into technical requirements.
- Track and update periodical changes to international standards and regulations.
- Participate in international working groups for standard development (mechanical or electronics).
- Support new product development and sustain existing products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or related engineering (e.g., electromechanical, mechatronics).
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and optionally ISO17025 quality systems.
- Strong teamwork, problem‑solving, and methodological skills.
- Broad technical culture to work with both electronic and mechanical standards.
- Flexibility, curiosity, and willingness to engage in diverse tasks.
