Title of the project:"Development of photoelectrochemical devices for sustainable solar energy conversion". The project concerns the preparation, integration and characterization of materials and devices for solar-energy conversion, with particular attention to photovoltaic thin films and the assembly of photoelectrochemical (PEC) devices. The post‑doc will contribute to the deposition and optimisation of semiconductor layers, such as metal oxides and halide perovskites, contacts and functional interfaces; fabrication of device architectures; measurement of structural, optical, electrical and photoelectrochemical properties; and analysis of charge transport, stability and degradation mechanisms. The work will be interdisciplinary and broad enough to address different material classes for photovoltaic and PEC applications.
