We are currently seeking a Commissioning Manager for our EPC Department based in Fano (PU) .

The Commissioning Manager will support the Lead of commissioning department in bid preparations and home office activities. During the initial project phase, He/She will act as Commissioning Coordinator , analyzing contract requirements and interfacing with BONATTI and the client completion team for system setup. During the execution phase, He/She will act as Commissioning Manager and support site commissioning activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Home Office Activities

  • Review and comment on technical annexes included in the contract; develop clarification lists for discrepancies or deficiencies.
  • Prepare applicable standards and technical specifications not included in the contract documentation.
  • Attend relevant meetings such as kick-off and project review meetings.
  • Prepare detailed planning for Precom & Comm activities.
  • Supervise document and CMS database preparation to ensure contractual compliance and optimized execution sequence.
  • Provide technical support during bidding and men-hours estimation.
  • Review and finalize detailed budgets for Precom & Comm activities.
  • Interface with the Client’s COM team and BONATTI site structure.

Site Activities

Support site commissioning structure or act as Commissioning Manager, including:

  • Monitor mechanical completion with Site Manager, Site Completion Coordinator, and Quality Team to meet schedules.
  • Follow up on personnel and equipment availability for timely commissioning.
  • Manage teams and equipment for PCOM and COM activities at site.
  • Manage subcontractors involved in commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate Vendor’s representatives during site activities and monitor performance.
  • Ensure activities are within budget.
  • Assess manpower skills and define additional resource needs.
  • Verify equipment readiness and procure additional equipment if necessary.
  • Prepare final dossiers for Precom & Comm.
  • Support site team with red markup activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in commissioning documentation and site activities as a Commissioning Manager in Oil & Gas plants.
  • Willingness to work abroad if required.
