Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for a Commissioning Engineer .

Purpose of Role:

The Commissioning Engineer is the primary contact for the company and customer for managing customer assistance.

He/She is accountable (and responsible whenever possible) for determining solutions for functional and non-functional issues occurring after equipment delivery (pumps and sub-supplies), involving all necessary and relevant internal and external actors. He/She will handle both warranty and non-warranty issues and be responsible for cost tracking related to customer claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the reference point for customers regarding claims.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting with all involved functions, including sub-suppliers.
  • Maintain communication and relationships with customers concerning claims and warranties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Root Cause analysis reports, involving other functions such as AM Engineering, OE Engineering, and R&D as needed.
  • Provide information to Customer Operations to order and ship spare parts required for warranties and to field service managers for site activities.
  • Track claims in relevant systems.
  • Monitor warranty costs in relevant systems according to procedures.
  • Involve Quality Control/Assurance for internal NCRs and follow-up on corrective actions.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in troubleshooting turbomachinery.
  • Strong background in pump troubleshooting and knowledge, including pump system interactions.
  • Ability to write technical Root Cause Analysis reports, integrating contributions from other departments.
  • Ability to handle discussions with customers, often under pressure and stressful situations.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Negotiation skills in stressful situations.

Computer Skills:

  • ERP, Excel, MS Office.
