Commissioning Engineer | Drive Pre-Commissioning & Start-Up Strategy (Milan Hub / Project Sites)
Are you an engineer who excels at bridging the gap between home‑office design and site execution? At Arka, we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join our team under the Project Execution Department.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare comprehensive procedures for pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and start‑up activities, ensuring strict compliance with applicable client procedures and regulations.
Analyze contractual technical specifications and participate directly in design and constructability reviews to support operability and maintainability issues.
Define the division of the plant into distinct systems (functional units) based on system and sub‑system definition criteria.
Liaise with the Project Control team for commissioning schedule definition, detailing the necessary milestones and work execution sequences.
Guarantee smooth interaction during the project design phase with other head‑office departments (Quality Assurance, HSE, and Procurement).
Evaluate basic and detailed designs alongside the engineering department, providing necessary prescriptions to make site pre‑commissioning activities easier.
Define tools and equipment necessary for commissioning activities, prepare a first‑level commissioning organization, and handle the training of client personnel.
Prepare all necessary forms to certify site tests.
Your Profile Education: University degree in engineering subjects, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
Technical Background: Solid knowledge in commissioning engineering and the development of quality control plans, inspection test plans, and system procedures.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting logic diagrams, P&IDs, and single line diagrams.
Systems & Tools: Practical knowledge of completion management systems.
Experience: Proven, hands‑on experience on site.
Languages: Fluent written and spoken English.
