Commercial Finance Director – EMEA QSR, Flavour Solutions
Location: EMEA
Reporting to the Senior Finance Director Commercial EMEA in the UK, this role is a key business partner to the commercial teams, facilitating actionable insights and analytics to support decision‑making and achieve financial objectives. It is customer‑facing and requires frequent interaction with the EMEA Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and key global stakeholders.
This role provides executive‑level ownership of the QSR segment’s commercial strategy and performance, unlocking long‑term value creation. Responsibilities span global, regional, and market levels, integrating insight, strategy, and execution across geographies.
Main Responsibilities
- Partner with the Commercial team to provide strategic direction and support commercial, operational, and strategic business decisions.
- Support key financial and business analysis: portfolio profitability, pricing strategies, sales performance, innovation analytics, commercial scorecarding, marketing & promotion decisions (including ROI), and SG&A analysis.
- Direct pricing procedures, analysis, and development, ensuring controls over customer contracts/deals and SOX compliance.
- Lead the commercial forecast process and provide insights into operating results, supporting actions to meet financial targets.
- Coordinate long‑term planning and annual budgeting for commercial areas, presenting plans to Management.
- Coordinate cross‑functional and regional/global COE teams to achieve aligned reporting and insights; drive reporting automation via TM1/Data Lake/Power BI.
- Align global customer pricing strategies for McDonald’s and Yum.
- Develop and coach staff, manage goals, identify talent needs, and support leadership development.

Candidate Profile
- Qualified Accountant – ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
- BSc in Finance or Accounting.
- Significant commercial experience within a large multinational manufacturing environment (preferably FMCG).
- Strong finance experience: senior level financial planning/analysis, commercial finance, or accounting.
- Knowledge of financial and analytical techniques, business issues, and impact analysis.
- Understanding of industry trends and internal/external factors.
- Demonstrated leadership, development, and management of teams.
- Influence and interaction across all levels and areas of the organization.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Support commercial, operational, and strategic decisions as a business partner.
- Experience in management reporting, financial reporting, planning & internal control, costing and commercial accounting.
- Lead finance teams and manage an SOX environment.
- Experience with SAP.
- Proficiency in modern IT tools: Excel, SalesForce, Power BI.
- Effective working‑capital management & treasury requirements.
