What the job looks like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as :

  • Collaborating with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to define and implement effective distribution strategies while managing key stakeholders in compliance with legislation.
  • Defining and executing Commercial channel strategies; acting as the main contact for external stakeholders (e.g., wholesalers, pharmacies, distribution partners).
  • Maximizing hospital performance by defining strategies and managing partnerships with external providers, ensuring process efficiency.
  • Serving as a proactive Business Partner to the Italian Team, providing decision support to the Portfolio & Commercial Head, Leadership Team, and other internal stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service).
  • Managing special projects to improve distribution efficacy and efficiency.
  • Supporting financial analysis related to profitability and margins.
  • Managing forecasts, budgets, and reporting processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and staying updated on legal frameworks (e.g., antitrust laws).

What you'll bring to the table

To excel in this role, you should have :

  • Extensive experience in multinational pharma, medical devices, or specialized nutrition companies (preferably 15+ years).
  • Deep knowledge of pharmacy and wholesaler channels, distribution principles (e.g., parallel import, legal discounts, allocated share), and related legislation (e.g., budget laws, Abruzzo decree, tender frameworks such as d.lgs 36/2023).
  • Expertise in pricing, commercial portfolio management, customer orientation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Responsiveness and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, drive results, and maintain quality orientation.
  • Attention to data accuracy and management.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills.
